Thrilled to spend a beautiful afternoon at the groundbreaking for the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project. I am so thankful for the hard, collaborative work done by state, federal and local partners on this long overdue, vital project. Can’t wait to see the bridge!

This week in Cincy history: The Cincinnati Reds signed 15-year-old Joe Nuxhall to a major league deal. On June 10, 1944, he debuted vs the St. Louis Cardinals at 15 years, 316 days, still the youngest in MLB history. His legacy still stands outside Great American Ball Park.

Following Presidents’ Day, we honor the life of Rev. Jackson, the second African American to launch a nationwide presidential campaign. From lunch counter sit-ins to founding the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, his impact is immeasurable. May we remember him and continue his work.
#RestInPower to Rev. Jesse Jackson. Today, we honor a giant whose voice, courage, and love for our people shaped generations. Reverend Jesse Jackson was not only a civil rights icon—he was family to the NAACP. His legacy sits at the heart of our work and at the center of this nation’s fight for justice. We carry his light forward. naacp.org/articles/naacp-hon…

This week I had the privilege to visit the @CincyMuseum and walk through the “Auschwitz: Not long ago. Not far away.” exhibit hosted by @cincyhhc. It was a sobering experience that I think everyone in our community should visit before the exhibit closes on April 12.

DPS crews have been treating and clearing roads during the current snowfall and will operate in 12-hour shifts through the duration of the winter event. You can track snowplow activity using the City's snowplow tracker and report slippery or snowy streets to 311!

Are you frustrated with unshoveled sidewalks? So are we. We’re submitting a motion this week asking the Administration to look at what we can do as a city to fix it. Please send any ideas you have in the meantime!

After last year, City Manager Sheryl Long worked hard to identify and fix major flaws in our snow removal system. The improvements this year are a result of that work. Kudos to her and the @CityOfCincy Public Services team on a job well done this week. fox19.com/2026/01/27/residen…
