Quantum technologies are critical to our national security and economic competitiveness. I joined quantum technology leaders to discuss American leadership in this sector and how the Midwest is critical to this effort.
The Bloch Quantum Tech Hub, which includes partners in northwest Indiana and was created through the CHIPS Act, leverages the Midwest’s academic and manufacturing assets to help with quantum technology development.
I am grateful for the opportunity to meet with @SylviaMinZin and hear about her family. Her husband’s wrongful detention is unacceptable. As Xi Jinping calls for more academics to study in China, the CCP continues to arrest those same academics, including Min Zin, under the guise of national security. China is not a safe place for academics with differing views, and State Department travel advisories should further highlight that increased risk across China.
