Die Zahl neuer Asylgesuche bleibt weiterhin tief, steigt aber saisonal bedingt leicht an. Deshalb erhöht das @SEMIGRATION die Zahl der Unterbringungsplätze geringfügig und nimmt die Zivilschutzanlage in Niederscherli (BE) temporär wieder in Betrieb.

Même si le nombre de nouvelles demandes d’asile reste bas, une hausse saisonnière est observée. Ainsi, le @SEMIGRATION renforce légèrement ses capacités d’hébergement et rouvre temporairement l’abri de la protection civile (PC) de Niederscherli (BE).

Im September 2026 verzeichnete das @SEMIGRATION 2122 Asylgesuche, 449 weniger als im September 2025. Von Januar bis Ende September 2026 ist die Zahl der Asylgesuche im Vergleich zur Vorjahresperiode um 17 Prozent gesunken.

Manuela Ernst wird per 1. März 2027 zur Vizedirektorin des Staatssekretariates für Migration (SEM) und Chefin des Direktionsbereichs Zuwanderung und Integration ernannt. Sie tritt die Nachfolge von Regula Mader an, die in Pension geht.
