I’m not just voting for names on a ballot.
I’m voting for the people whose stories I carry with me. The workers doing everything right and still struggling. The families fighting for MONEY. POWER. RESPECT. ✊🏿
Who are you voting for?
We don’t sit on the sidelines when our future is on the line. We take our power straight to the ballot box.
With groceries, rent, and healthcare stretching our paychecks, your vote is more than your voice. It’s part of demanding a better life.
With our votes we decide who the government answers to.

California came READY. 💜💛
Yesterday, @SEIU1000 members walked off the job and into their power.
Nurses. Custodians. Scientists. Educators. IT workers. The people who keep California RUNNING.
Y’all look GOOD standing in your power. 🙌🏿
Power doesn’t change its mind. People change who has the power.
We deserve leaders who know what it means to work a double. To stretch a paycheck. To care for our families AND keep our communities running.
@AngieNixon knows working people because she IS working people.
Corporations fund greedy politicians, and then get whatever they want.
But there’s something they can’t buy: A whole lot of us, in the same place, at the same time.
On October 24th, we’re showing up together. Join us. #MoneyPowerRespect
Working people got a raise.
Then the economy took it right back.
That’s the story here.
An economy built on our labor should build OUR lives, too.

To my 100,000 union siblings on the picket lines across California today: I see you, I stand with you, and I could not be prouder of your courage. ✊🏾 💜 Today, @SEIU1000 members are making history. When we raise our voices together, we are unstoppable. Keep holding the line!
As workers, we MUST fight for a different future, one built on #MoneyPowerRespect.

Today in history, we remember the historic 1946 SNYC Congress in Columbia, SC. SNYC built multiracial working-class coalitions to fight white supremacy. In 1946, 2.5k people gathered for what was then the largest civil rights gathering in U.S. history.

“They are counting on you to stay home.”
And I meant every word.
Our power is in showing up. In organizing. In voting. ✊🏿

QUICK! When’s the last time you checked your voter registration? 👀
Not Sure?
Check yours. Check on your people. Then get ready to show up.

Say it louder for the folks in the back: IT’S BETTER IN A UNION. 🗣️✊🏿
When workers organize, they raise the standard for EVERYBODY.
My sisters @LizShuler and @hshierholz are bringing the receipts.
