More depressing data to share. The age at which women in the workplace are taken seriously seems awfully narrow. We are too old or too young. When are we seen as “just right” from an age perspective? huffpost.com/entry/age-discr…

The best job is one where you can help other people achieve their goals. I have the world’s best job! Moore North America launched the Leadhership1 program today because they truly value gender diversity and want to invest in advancing more women.

You all know how much I love @SallyHelgesen author of “How Women Rise” and if she says it, it’s true. Let’s stop pushing the unproductive/false/unhelpful narrative about imposter syndrome.
Hmmmm … if “every single” high achiever reported struggling with impostor syndrome, maybe it’s not a thing. Maybe it’s just being human. @heylgo

I’ve never heard the word writative before but this explains my whole life
Introverts were significantly more likely to report being writative (47.7%) than extroverts (3.1%) whereas extroverts were significantly more likely to report being talkative (96.9%) than introverts (53.2%), X2(1, N = 118) = 20.19, p < .001. #Introvert #Extrovert @susancain

Inc Magazine recently published an article called “11 interview questions that every manager should ask” and two struck me as great questions to ask ourselves. How do we react to hurdles in life and what does a great day at work look like?

So interesting! The #1 challenge cited by high-performing leaders hadn’t changed in nearly 20 years. Looks like a clear call to action for everyone coaching, mentoring and sponsoring the high-performing leaders.

One of the hardest obstacles to overcome in career progression is getting comfortable asking for help. HBR had a great article with this bottom line: Strong leaders learn how to ask for help! It’s NOT a sign of weakness. It’s not any of these common beliefs listed below.
