@Rickyprep @jayplot @ASJSportsATX @colbygordon_ @MichaelAdamsASJ @MikeBarnesMedia First career TD for @VHSFootball alum @milesteo12. He also threw for 2 more.
Big news from @AlexAkins2028 one of the best softball players in Texas.
I am excited to announce I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at
Colorado State University.
Thank you Coach Michelle Gascogne, Coach Tony Smith, Coach Taylor Gilmore, Coach Jake Long and Colorado State University for giving me this incredible opportunity. I am truly blessed to have the chance to play at such a high level and for a group of such accomplished and talented coaches. It is a huge responsibility to live up to and I will not let you all down.

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL IN FEBRUARY? Texas HSFB season starts Fri w/TAPPS. If an 18-week season isn't enough for you, some ISDs around TX are holding middle school football in the winter in Jan/Feb/Mar 2027. Look for @jsala123 @Gosset41 @ProfessorDiggs & @Rickyprep on the sidelines! @210Preps
Among the coaches for the @LamarUniversity baseball team is former @TexasBaseball and @LampasasHS pitcher @AceWhitehead_ good luck Ace.
I’ve always admired the fb stadium at El Paso HS. Notice the bleachers surround only half the field. Something to do with the terrain on the left side. Built in 1916. @EPISDathletics beautiful architecture to the school.
Never understood why Ohtani hits leadoff. He has dozens of home runs leading off the first, including two in the last 3 days. The result is 1 run each time instead of 2 or 3. @Dodgers
Great hire here. Knows the community, knows the school.
Home run hire in @AISDAthletics by Austin Northeast @NortheastECHS hiring coach @DemoOdems as HFC 🏈. Love this one @CoachJGlenn !!

After 45 years, I’ve written my last story. Thank you to @statesman and the El Paso Times for allowing me to do this. It’s been a journey.
