In the @kubernetesio 1.37 release, codenamed Garhwal, new scheduling capabilities were built for AI and machine-learning training jobs that need groups of pods to start and scale together. @CloudNativeFdn
"So previously it was just a pod and the scheduler depends on the pod and just schedules it, " Dipesh Rawat the K8S 1.37 release lead told me. "Now Kubernetes as a whole is trying to move towards being workload aware."
