Dogs are not lab equipment. They are family. A White Coat Waste investigation found one supplier shipped 1,518 hound dogs to 44 research laboratories in just 18 months. Many of those labs receive NIH funding. We introduced the PUPPS Act to shut down the puppy pipeline, prohibit breeding and commercial distribution of dogs for research, impose penalties of up to $10,000 per dog, and give dogs already trapped in the system a chance to be adopted instead of euthanized. Man’s best friend belongs in a loving home, not a lab.

Nearly 7,000 exemptions from terrorism-related immigration restrictions in ONE YEAR under Biden. Seven thousand. In one year. Federal law says terrorism is grounds to keep someone out of our country, then carves out exceptions. Our Stop Importing Terrorism Act closes this loophole. And we’re not stopping there. Anyone admitted through this exception from January 20, 2021, through the date our bill becomes law would be subject to deportation. American families deserve an immigration system which puts their safety first. Our national security is not negotiable. We must protect our country, our freedoms, and our way of life.

Do you think someone convicted of a violent crime should be working for your government? We sure don't. Our No Violent Criminals in the Federal Workforce Act bars violent criminals from federal jobs and federal contracts. Our No Convicts Running the Capital Act extends the same standard to the D.C. government and its contractors. This is just common sense. Government service is a public trust, not a second chance for violent offenders.

A shelter should be the place survivors stop looking over their shoulder. Not a harbor for predators. Our Safe Shelters for Survivors Act closes a dangerous loophole by barring registered sex offenders from entering or receiving services at federally funded domestic-violence and homeless shelters. If taxpayers fund a shelter, taxpayers should know it protects the people inside. No predator gets a taxpayer-funded roof over their head while survivors are left exposed.

We tried to hold Ilhan Omar accountable. Democrats and Republicans blocked our effort to censure her. The same thing happened when we tried to subpoena her immigration records. Washington protected its own. Now federal agents are investigating potential immigration-related crimes involving Omar and her family. Did she marry her brother? Were her immigration records falsified? The questions did not disappear. They got louder.

And the plot thickens...

The Lowcountry is NOT and never will be a sanctuary for illegal aliens. Two illegal aliens arrested right here in Charleston this month. Criminal histories involving assault, domestic violence, and conspiracy to commit hostage-taking resulting in death. Criminal illegal aliens have NO place in South Carolina. Thank you ICE for keeping our communities safe. Hold the line.

Our police K-9s run toward danger so we don’t have to. They detect deadly drugs and explosives. They track dangerous suspects. They protect the officers beside them. K-9s save lives. We introduced the FETCH Act to ensure existing federal grants can support these heroes with training, equipment, veterinary care, and retirement support. They never hesitate to protect us. We must never hesitate to protect them.

Under the Obama administration, federal investigators reportedly found “some evidence” Ilhan Omar had entered a SHAM marriage with her brother. Prosecutors reportedly declined to pursue charges because the five-year statute of limitations had expired. So federal investigators were looking at these allegations YEARS ago. And she's still serving our nation. We tried to censure Omar and subpoena her immigration records. Both efforts were blocked by both parties in Congress. Now the investigation is back in the headlines. How many times were the questions raised, and how many times were answers blocked? No one is above the law.

Watching what she’s doing. Still can’t understand what she’s saying.

The days of rolling out the welcome mat for people who despise this country are over. Our No Immigration Without Assimilation Act says if you reject American values, you don’t get to come here. DHS would screen every applicant through interviews, a review of public statements, and conversations with people who know them to determine whether they are committed to becoming Americans. Support Sharia over the Constitution? Advocate religiously or politically motivated violence? Reject constitutional rights for others? Refuse to learn English or embrace American civic principles? You don’t get to come here. If you’re already here and refuse to assimilate, you’re deportable. America was built by people who chose this country, embraced its values, and gave everything to become Americans. If this isn’t you, stay home.

When the federal government releases an unaccompanied child to a sponsor, it is responsible for knowing exactly where the child is and who the child is with. Every single time. Our No More Missing Children Act creates an Anti-Trafficking Program to stop alien children from being trafficked or lost. Before any child is released, every sponsor and every adult in the household must be extensively vetted: an in-person home inspection, FBI and terrorism screening, and sex offender and child abuse checks. Anyone claiming to be a parent or relative must prove it with DNA. We’re making sure gang members, cartel associates, terrorists, and sex offenders cannot get their hands on these children. Once a child is placed, the oversight continues. GPS monitoring. Monthly check-ins. Quarterly re-vetting. Unannounced home visits. If a child may be in danger, the government takes the child back immediately. These children are vulnerable, alone, and depending on us to get it right.

When Christians are murdered in Nigeria, the media goes silent. Churches are being burned. Families are being driven from their homes. More than 5 million Christians were forced to flee. God protect our people.
