New reporting from Argentina reveals serious concerns surrounding Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial. According to Argentine regulatory and ethics records, findings included: -20 regulatory inspection findings documented by ANMAT. -52 participants received higher-than-planned vaccine doses. -439 protocol deviation reports were pending submission to the ethics committee. -5 serious ethics oversight failures, including inadequate adverse-event monitoring. Michael Tokar was a four-time Ironman, marathoner, cyclist, construction leader, husband, father, and fundraiser. Endurance sports were more than a hobby, they were an important part of his life and mental health. On April 9, 2021, Michael received the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. He reports developing a severe headache, fever, and chills that same day. As his symptoms continued, he experienced Bell’s palsy and underwent months of testing, appointments, and emergency visits. In 2022, Michael was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. His life may look very different today, but Michael has found a new way to use his strength. He now speaks to others about mental health, suicide prevention, resilience, chronic pain, and hope. “If one person hears my story and realizes they are not alone, then sharing my pain is worth it.” This Vaccine Injury Awareness Month, we're honoring people like Michael who are turning pain into purpose.

Together, we reached our September CARE Fund goal! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we now have the funding needed to provide assistance to the CARE Fund applicants who were already approved and waiting for support. This is an important step toward reopening the CARE Fund to new applicants. As we prepare for the next phase, our team is working to ensure the Fund can responsibly begin accepting applications again. We know many in our community are waiting for the opportunity to apply, and we are working toward reopening as soon as we are prepared to do so. This Vaccine Injury Awareness Month, we’re recognizing people in our community who have turned their pain into purpose. For Chaplain James Link, moving forward has meant finding a way to use what he’s been through to help others. After his own experience with vaccine injury changed life for both him and his wife, Faye, advocacy became part of their healing. This is what it means to turn pain into purpose.
