The North Dakota Soybean Council spent the last few days hosting our annual Food and Farm Tour! This program highlights how #soybeans travel from farm to table, and highlights how producers across the state are committed to creating high-quality, sustainable products that help feed the world! 🌍
The last two days consisted of:
🌱 Sampling a wide variety of delicious #soy products
🌱 Updates on #soy research with Dr. Mark Messina, Director of Nutrition Science and Research at @Soy_Nutrition
🌱 Farm visit and combine rides with Jim Thompson, NDSC Chairman
🌱 A tour of @SBBFOODS, a family-owned food-grade #soybean processing facility
🌱 Created delicious #soy dishes with the culinary students at @ndscswildcats
🌱 And finally, listened to a professional panel of National Dietitians and Chefs!
A special thank you to Linda Funk, Executive Director of @SoyfoodsCouncil, for leading the program and providing valuable insight on #soyfoods!
NDSC would also like to give a special thank you to @RDamber for providing #soyfoods demonstrations! Last night I went to bed at 8 pm and woke up at 6:30 am. I feel like a new woman. So thankful the baby slept all the way through the night!
