1/ To get paid in crypto, you give the payer your wallet address but the address alone isn't enough: the network matters too.
Many mistakes happen because the address is right but the network is wrong.
Here's how to avoid them 🧵 👇️
3/ Some networks use the same address.
Your Ethereum address also works on Base but if someone sends you USDC on Base, that USDC stays on Base.
So when you share your address, include the network too.
For example: "USDC on Base".
4/ And when you send crypto, copy the address the recipient shares with you, not one from your history.
Some scams put addresses that look like ones you've used into your history.
If it's a new address, send a small amount first.
