Some more color to restricted free agency Out of the 14 former first-round picks that received a qualifying Offer since 2023 and then signed a contract, only three (Tyrese Maxey, Immanuel Quickley and Cam Johnson), had a starting salary greater than $20 million in the first season.

Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan has signed a multiyear contract extension with the franchise, sources tell ESPN. Donovan is viewed as a leader within the Bulls organization, and will enter his sixth season in Chicago in 2025-26 with 800 NBA games coached over his career.
