Yesterday, Paul Twiss, Associate Professor of Old Testament at @mastersseminary surveyed the Old Testament and taught on the Gospel narrative seen throughout.
Mark Dever and Taylor Hartley of @9marks spent time with our students this week, teaching on the biblical relationship between missions and the local church and walking through the resources 9Marks has developed toward that end. Afterwards, they stayed to chat with staff and students.
Brooks Buser, Radius’ president, explains the connection between what our students learn and what they will experience on the field.
Friday afternoons bring students and staff together before the week ends. They share where they have been encouraged and challenged, what they are reading in the Word and what to expect for the week ahead.
Radius uses team events like this one to build communication and camaraderie, and to expose the areas where our candidates still need to grow. All toward the goal of forging those who go, stay and persevere.
Radius' 15th class began yesterday. We are glad to have these men and women with us for the next 9 months of training.
Join us at the Missionary 2026 National Conference. Hear from John Piper, Kevin DeYoung and Mark Dever, along with Radius' own Brooks Buser, Chad Vegas and others, as we gather around God's Word and consider what it means to serve the Lord Who Sends.
This is the last week to register at a discounted price. After August 15 (this Saturday) prices increase.

Radius President Brooks Buser shares an update on the summer and what lies ahead as students prepare to arrive.
In the summer, our campus lies quiet and near empty as we wait for the next class of students to arrive. In this quiet, our staff have rested, refocused and prepared again to train men and women who persevere, proclaim Christ and plant churches where His name is not yet known.
“Sometimes people go into missions and think they're just going to go overseas and begin sharing the gospel...But the reality is there's so much more that they need to be prepared for."

A trained individual always does better, period. What is true in the military, in aviation and in the medical field is also true of missions. Those who are trained the most rigorously do the best.

We train missionaries who stand the test of time, so that, by God's grace, a church is established among unreached language groups.
Last week, Radius celebrated its 14th graduating class. They join 424 other men and women who have been equipped to go, persevere, and raise up churches where none currently exist. Thank you for your prayers and support this past year.
Trained and tested.
Before they graduate, Radius candidates undergo a panel evaluation. This assesses their readiness for the field, highlighting their strengths and revealing the areas where they still need to grow, preparing them to be sustained in long-term ministry.
