This study from @kcsamh and @policyatkings found that 60% of Brits report that the cost-of-living crisis is negatively impacting their mental health.
73% of people asked felt that the UK government does not care about people like them.
New research out today from our @ESRC Centre and @policyatkings shows that people with #mentalhealth conditions are severely impacted by #CostOfLivingCrisis.
People are seeking support, the study finds, but much more so from family, friends and community than health and welfare services.

ALT image of people holding hands. Quote form Prof Hanna Kienzler, co-direct of ESRC Centre for Society and Mental Health: "There is a clear gap in how our policies and services are supporting those who are most vulnerable to the mental health impact of the cost-of-living crisis. It is vital that we work in partnership to develop accessible and effective services and support at this time"
