Just a reminder that if you are feeling like you are in a black hole, I - and so many others - am here to listen. I know it's hard to feel like you can talk to anyone when you're in a place like that but there are so many people in the world who love and support you.
Violence was the star of the @RRP_TBMakeover as the sire/grandsire of 2 champions. He was joined by son Volatile, Flintshire (whose daughter Our Girl Flint won 2 disciplines), Twice as Bad, Cross Traffic, Sea the Stars, Cairo Prince, Bucchero, and Tapiture as sires of champions.
The @RRP_TBMakeover is upon us again and with the new Graduate Classes, we have both new and familiar faces representing @nytbreeders in 2026.

.@DarleyEurope's Blue Point is quickly proving to be a superstar sire, but the stallion crossed with Oasis Dream mares takes him to another level.
The cross is striking at 15.8% G1Ws, 26.3% SW, and 36.9% SH from 19 runners.
It's Tiz The Law's world right now.
From the 28 stakes runners he's had worldwide since August 28, 12 (42.8%) have placed in the top three and seven (25%) have won. Eight of his 19 G1 runners have won/placed at that level with two others placing fourth.
Worth noting that Caroline St. Beat is bred on the @coolmoreamerica Tiz The Law x Scat Daddy cross that is quickly taking off. He's the fifth graded stakes winner from 18 runners for TTL out of Scat Daddy mares with three of them being Grade 1 winners.
An upset win in the $3 million Nashville Derby (G2) as 17-1 #4 CAROLINE ST. BEAT ($36.54) scores under @Tyler_Gaff for trainer @miguelmclement. A big win by a @nytbreeders-bred!
The winner is a son of @coolmoreamerica Tiz the Law for @MadaketStables and partners.
And that's a wrap ... it's been another fun season working with @joeclancy65, @bySeanClancy, @SaratogaTL, and the interns as they churned out some amazing content over the course of the meet. The final edition is no exception, safe to say they went out on a high note!

The day I took that picture of Biscuits was one of my favorites at Old Friends. She put on quite the show in a mud puddle right after it for one of my favorite/most entertaining shots I've ever taken.

Multiple stallion farms are celebrating today after their stallions hit it big at a record-breaking @FasigTipton Saratoga with 14 stallions have yearlings bring $1 million+. It was an exceptionally big sale for Into Mischief, who was the sire of five of the top 10 yearlings sold.
Burnham Square joined what has become a rare group of horses in the 2000s as a Grade 1 winner on both dirt and turf after his Arlington Million victory on Saturday. He was the first of two back-to-back G1 Blue Grass S. winners for Liam's Map (@LanesEndFarms) last year as well.

Though Medaglia d'Oro wasn't in the breeding shed this season he's made sure the next chapter of his story is already being written by his sons and daughters. His legacy was on full display Sunday when his sons and daughter had the top three in the G2 Connaught Cup.
Like father, like son. Through the first half of the year, many big-name sires in the U.S. aren't only proving that they're excellent sires of racehorses, but also excellent sires of sires.
It was amazing to go out to STEPS With Horses today to see their facility and learn more about their program. Getting a chance to hear more about how they utilize horses to help veterans & children & spend some time with their herd was a great way to start the holiday weekend.
As an added bonus, I was able to talk to Go Fast, Do Stupid Stuff's Kendall Hayley about his upcoming Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge ride (check it out, it's awesome) to fundraise for the program as well. The ride sounds very @mongolderbylive in the best way possible.

Shoplifted winning the Springboard Mile at @RemingtonPark in 2019 ➡Shoplifted last week at @valorfarm, where he just completed his fifth season at stud.
Competitive Edge moved to @ValorFarm for the 2021 breeding season and currently leads Texas's standing by winners (25) and progeny earnings this year.
Overall, he has 9 crops aged 3 or older with 25 stakes performers led by 15 stakes winners. He has 33 2YOs to come this year.
