Developer note: per-minute and per-request limits on Verity apply to each key. One key per service keeps a noisy worker from slowing the rest.

What a Verity signature proves: the record was signed with our published key and hasn't changed since. What it doesn't prove alone: that the price is fresh. So on live reads, freshness and quality are signed into the record too.

Verity doesn't stop at "price" or "no price." A print can be consensus, blended or indicative. A coin can be stale or short on coverage. Each label tells you what the number is fit for.

Developer note: your Verity monthly allowance is per account, not per key. Making a new key won't reset it, so rotate keys freely for security, not for quota.

The Verity MCP server is read-only. Your agent can look up a signed price and check it. It can't change a thing.

What should a price index do when the venues can't agree? Verity has a status for exactly that: venue-disagreement. It names the problem instead of papering over it.

Developer tip: verify a Verity batch row by row. Each successful row carries its own signature. The wrapper around them doesn't. A coin that's unavailable comes back as its own error, never a guessed price.
