Hey all, Ben here. After much deliberation, and many missed deadlines, we've decided to end submissions to JAKE indefinitely on Feb. 15th (two weeks from today). All open submissions will receive a response, and all announced/scheduled work will release, but we're winding down.

Heads up: JAKE's backend experienced a breach one of his contributors (thankfully) spotted this week. Almost 250 pieces were affected (had an LLM-sounding paragraph of advertising inserted). All should be fixed now, but if your piece is still messed up, email JAKE & he'll fix it.

Been quiet here lately since we're not publishing new work on the site anymore, but Fuck AI, and Fuck anyone who uses it to avoid the hard work of actually making art. LLM's are theft machines, and any "writers" using it are cowards afraid of their own ability to fail.

Just finished formatting the last few pieces we'll publish before the indefinite hiatus. Check out some of these titles, coming to you from some heavy hitters:
