Led the presentation of the private sector’s priorities and proposals at the FY2027/28 Budget consultations, with a focus on the sectors that anchor Uganda’s 10X Growth Strategy.
We commended the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development for its structured engagement with the private sector, focused on private sector-led growth, further easing the cost of doing business and socio-economic transformation.
Our well-researched, extensively private sector-informed and evidence-based proposals called for faster execution, tax predictability and the extinguishing of domestic arrears that cripple businesses.
It was encouraging to hear Finance Minister @henrymusasizi1 reiterate budget discipline and accountability, which are key to translating resources into results.
