Power of the Daleks - a new Doctor, new Daleks, great cliffhangers and a whole lot of doomed people who think they're in House of Cards, not a SF survival story... michaelscollinswriter.blogsp…

Recorded more stuff for YouTube with Jon based on those polls last night. Tbh at this point I'm half convinced to rename us The Paddy Russell Fanclub, how often praise for her finds a way into the episodes!

It's WrestleMania weekend so I decided to introduce @The_Arn to an example of WCW booking from 1999. I'm a nice friend, you see... Bad Wrestling Storylines #1: West Texas Rednecks v No Limit Soldiers youtu.be/hulNpPha7gY via @YouTube

"Who did he kill now? And why?" "Why are they shagging?" etc Whenever faced with a (thankfully rare) bloody dull 90s Columbo, I'm always grateful to @columbophile for having written those summaries so I can find out what's going on. Oliver Brandt, this ain't! (Grand Deceptions)

Replying to @CewshReviews
@CewshReviews My USB of long forgotten downloads I am finally catching up on randomly brought up a Kenta Kobashi match and you are the only person I know who'd appreciate this.

vs Jumbo from 1992. Weird seeing Kenta as a "young rookie" - you feel like he was born as a 40 year old hard nosed veteran master...

Also while we're talking @TalkingPicsTV I can't recommend Dial 999 enough. Robert Beatty as a Mountie transferred to the Met Police in 1958. Gripping for its time and full of all your acting faves - William Hartnell as a gangster, Clive Morton as a murdering husband, etc etc.

Crown Court repeats last week on @TalkingPicsTV Mark McManus doing a lot of heavy lifting for my"Jim Taggart could actually act very well" bandwagon. Because he could, and he's great in that, against type. (Regina v Bryant, presumably should be on their On Demand player!)

It's a new story by yours truly. His Brain Wasn't Working, a wrong way round zombie story. samjokomagazine.com/hisbrain…

youtube.com/watch?v=6nXGtm3w… @The_Arn returns: What #DoctorWho cliffhanger changed the entire series? Which cliffhanger saved Jon’s teenage fandom? Which 70s classic does Michael feel sorry for? All this and Uncle Terry references, Paddy Russell love and the perfect #TomBaker story.

Bridge of Lies has an extra "safety". Panic button/two safety zones but also, if contestant about to step on answer Ross Kemp knows is wrong, he says something like "are you sure/remember you don't want to step on a wrong answer" - no contestant seems to have twigged this yet.
