Onchain capital markets deserve the same confidentiality & compliance they’re afforded in traditional finance. Public markets never asked serious capital to publish its book. Jane Street doesn't. Citadel doesn't. Yet onchain, every position and every fill is legible to anyone who looks. Confidentiality without compliance gets banned. Transparency without confidentiality leaks alpha. Shield exists because institutions should not have to choose. This talk is one of the clearest versions of that argument I’ve made & thank you to @realmotioninc & @wrappedxyz for having me on. Stay tuned for what's next on Shield. We're just getting started.
No financial institution is keen on their internal strategies being visible to the world in real time.
