You know WHY it's important to have a CPA as City Controller, the city's accountant & auditor? 🤔 Here's a great story from today while reviewing the City of LA's new FY2022-23 budget. I noticed that the numbers were off in the "Unrestricted Revenue" section. So I did a thing.🔎

Our team leaders @POOOKs & @jennWHYfer brought toys for our farm workers’ kids— and they had so much fun 💕 In a time of great need everywhere, these sweet moments of hope really push us through and we are proud of our team for the community we built this year.

We provide hygiene kits + zines to nearly 300 unhoused Ktown residents each week! We resumed power-up today, which gives our neighbors a chance to charge their phones. Thanks to everyone who makes this possible, especially our outreach co-chairs who take on this logistical feat!

earthquake said, “BLACK LIVES STILL MATTER.......biiiiiitch!”
The root of the problem is not necessarily format. It’s that there‘s so much pressure on members of both parties to spend time fundraising that it takes time away from deeply studying and preparing for hearings. If you want hearings to be better, get money out of politics.

Im kind of used to seeing patterns but last few months have started to see absurd levels of synchronicity or coincidences, usually I like it but its become so consistent/surreal.. anyone know this experience? Glitch in matrix type thing but on steroids?
