Petra is the first wallet to make Encrypted Mempool available directly in the signing flow.
To try it in the Petra extension, enable "Encrypted pending transactions" under Settings → Security & Privacy, then turn on "Encrypt transaction" when signing.
Encrypted Mempool transactions incur an additional gas fee.

When a user opts in, the transaction's details (the function called and its inputs) are encrypted on their device. Validators order the block without being able to read them, and the details are decrypted only after the block is finalized.
That sequence is what lowers the risk of MEV attacks.
Encrypted Mempool just went live on @Aptos mainnet, and it's already accessible via the Petra extension.
