Uganda doesn’t lack raw talent we lack strategic talent management.
From young prodigies like Fresh Kid, to world class athletes, to artists who could easily reach @burnaboy levels but end up settled on the local gig circuit, wedding performances, mismanagement, poor choices, and missing structure continuously hold us back.
Real talent development must be a deliberate investment.
Huge credit to @House_OfJazz, for stepping in to fix this gap. They are addressing this head on through three powerful pillars:
Talent Development: Providing dedicated stages and studios for the region’s most promising musicians, chefs, and makers.
Luxury Experiences: Curating deliberate evenings where music, cuisine, and intentional conversation thrive.
Cultural Stewardship: Honouring African heritage by giving it a permanent, world-class address.
By bringing top-tier structure, professional platforms, and intentional management, we finally have the foundation to elevate local talent into global icons.
Food for thought: When you are born, you look like your parents. When you die, you look like your decisions!
I flew the Crane and was greatly impressed. Well done @UG_Airlines the service was professional, on time, clean and the lead flight attendant, Clare was amazing. Interestingly, the other East Africans on board preferred @UG_Airlines to their national carriers!
The Elephant has entered the building!!!! If you know, you know!!!! @Arsenal Gunners Oyeeee!!!

We all get a shot at greatness. Ecc 9:11 NIV: I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.
As Uganda turns 63, we at @Grindstoneug will keep grinding with this great nation.
