The Prime Minister wants to lecture everyone about “turning down the temperature”. Well he can start by abolishing his dirt unit that was trying to undermine Helen. I’ve heard you on the Lambie video. The cartoons have my name on it so it’s my responsibility and we will be taking that joke out given it’s a sensitive medical issue for her.

My thoughts are with Helen, her family and her staff. I wish her a full and speedy recovery, and I know Australians everywhere are wishing the same. Police are investigating, and we should let them do their work. Violence against any elected representative, whoever they are and whatever they stand for, is never acceptable in Australia.
