For more than 20 years, the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) has helped agencies share data across domains.
Now a community-driven OASIS Open Project, NIEMOpen continues to evolve.
Version 6.0 is now an official OASIS standard that works with XML, JSON, and RDF, and its tooling is being built for AI integration.
New uses include the Open Knowledge Network from the @NSF, whose justice platform is built on NIEM.
