🏅@NBCNews is #1 across the board for 2026 midterm election night coverage, averaging 6.8 million total viewers, 3 million A25-54 viewers and 2.5 million A18-49 viewers.
NBC also exceeded the combined A25-54 audiences of ABC and CBS.
Additional new highlights:
🏅NBC News more than doubled its total viewership and nearly tripled its A25-54 audience vs. the 2022 midterms, delivering the largest growth of any major news network.
🏅 NBC News delivered its largest midterm election night victories over ABC and CBS in both total viewers and A25-54 since at least 1998.

Hope what just happened Sunday with @PennStateVBALL doesn't get lost amid all of the other sports news here at the end of 2024. The pressures of coaching at a high level at the top of a sport -- and in this case the best @NCAAVolleyball conference in @B1GVolleyball -- are difficult enough. Now toss in going through cancer treatment. What @CoachKatiePSU accomplished was simply remarkable. A standing ovation deserved. Bravo to the entire Penn State team.
