I know it's been pretty warm of late, but we're deep into fall now and starting to see the potential for early morning frost. For tonight, we're highlighting central and north central OK. If you have plants still outside, take steps to protect them.
If you haven't gone outside yet today, the weather is beautiful with temperatures in the 60s. If you prefer things a tad warmer, 70s are coming next week. Either way, it's a great time to get outdoors and enjoy the weather.
3 AM - As dense fog continues to expand, we have added several counties - Harmon, Greer, Jackson, Kiowa, Major and Woods - to the ongoing Dense Fog Advisory through 10 AM.

Any gardeners in north central Oklahoma who have kept their plants going into November with the warm temperatures: a Frost Advisory is in effect for tonight into tomorrow morning with temps dropping into the mid-30s.
Your children will be very excited to know that the total rainfall sitting in our gauge this morning was 0.67 inches.
Here's your forecast for today:

11/05 405 PM - Small hail threat continues in the Edmond area through 430 PM, with hail up to the size of dimes possible. #okwx
318pm: A thunderstorm in the far north OKC and Edmond area may produce areas of small hail as it moves northeast. Large hail is not expected, but accumulation of small hail will be possible. #okwx
