Building your own house while working FT night shift is a fantastic experience. You learn new skills, save a bit of money and develop an intimate understanding of just how many different ways a single human being can be fucked around. I've aged about 15 years, developed several new mental disorders and I'm fairly certain my blood is now 43% caffeine. 10/10 would recommend. Nearly fucking there fam 😂

I swear half the games I want to play these days are games I've already played. I've got an enormous backlog of new shit and somehow I'm still thinking about starting another playthrough of something from 15 years ago 😂

Thanks to PAX Aus... I've started looking into sim racing gear...(again) Somehow went from "might upgrade my Logitech wheel" to looking at 16Nm direct drive bases, cockpits and pedals that cost more than my first car 😂 I have absolutely no fucking idea what I'm doing. All I know is I eventually wanna race GT3s in iRacing and apparently that's going to require a second mortgage. SEND HALP. 😂

It's so damn good to see PAX back in full swing! Packed halls, massive booths, incredible cosplay and thousands of people just enjoying the shit out of gaming. There's something pretty special about getting this many people together who all share the same passion. The AI conversation has changed really quickly! A year ago it was mostly “look how smart these models are.” Now the people building them are openly talking about kill switches, regulation, and slowing things down. Just had one of the best WARDOGS games I’ve played yet 😂 Blue team. Started like absolute shit. Red were miles ahead and we had ELEVEN points. Spent half the game fighting Green for 2nd and then at some point everyone just went “hang on… we can actually fucking win this.” Blue 54. Green 54. Red 97. Apparently people are genuinely debating whether GTA VI counts as “micro-cheating” because Jason and Lucia can go on dates and build their relationship. We are 71 days away from couples having arguments because Jason took Lucia on a date in Vice City. Absolute cinema 😂

I’m usually pretty suspicious whenever the Australian Government decides it needs to “fix” social media 😂 BUT giving people the option to turn off recommendations? I don’t completely hate it. I know plenty of people who’d love a feed that’s just the accounts they follow. The downside is discovery. Algorithms are also how new creators get seen, communities grow, and you stumble across people you’d never have found otherwise. So sure, give people the choice. If you want to turn your feed into a little online hermit cave, Best of luck! 😂 Although, at that point, maybe just go touch grass?

This poll is pretty telling. The more I look at the Xbox cloud playtime limits, the more I think they’ve just done a fucken horrible job explaining them. The 15 hours on Ultimate is NOT a limit on how long you can play Game Pass games. It’s 15 hours of cloud streaming. Download the game to your Xbox/PC and play normally, the limit doesn’t apply. Xbox says only 4% of Game Pass users will actually be affected. Still sucks if cloud is your main way to play, but this is nowhere near as bad as I first thought 😂 – at Melbourne, Victoria
