Of the 52,247 people who have died from COVID-19 in Canada, I've linked 22,137 deaths to 2544 residential care facilities and 256 deaths to workplace COVID-19 infections. That's 2 new deaths and no new facilities added since April 2. docs.google.com/spreadsheets…

Jen's position is the most normal one on the separatists and for some reason, David Commin acts like she's performing some kind of never before seen magic trick. CBC suuuuucks.
The kids on TikTok made me famous yesterday because I did this "unslept and spicy" interview on CBC. In hindsight, this was more suggestive than I had intended at the time. I'm not walking it back though. cbc.ca/player/play/video/9.7…

"Canada considers international people as units of human capital first and foremost. These units should be pushed and pulled along the rhythm of the markets. They should be hired where they’re needed or disappear when they aren’t." @NoLore : noraloreto.substack.com/p/th…

Carney bragging that they've "gotten down" asylum claims by 70% is so disgusting. They should not be considered similar to international students. We have a global responsibility to accept people who need asylum!
Mark Carney on immigration: "We have been having discussions with the provinces, first ministers, around getting immigration to the right levels. We will not budge from overall levels that are sustainable. We're getting them to that level now."

Anti-immigrant sentiment in Alberta has hit a majority, and that province is hardly an outlier. That's what happens when we fail to blame a lack of planning and instead blame people who are just trying to find a place to live securely. My latest ... noraloreto.substack.com/p/th…

PSPP has promised to give Quebecers three weeks of annual holidays. That is how you gain the confidence of a population quickly.

The whole thing started after the dog lunged for a water bowl outside a shop, causing his owner, who was on his bike, to crash and smash glass everywhere. Which brings me back to this…
Does anyone in Toronto have a list of dog-hostile businesses? As in, businesses that won’t let any dogs other than service ones in. I’m looking for places to spend money. Thanks.

He doesn't want to stop letting companies undercut workers by bringing in TFWS and LIMAs so he's cracking down on refugees. It's literally backwards immigration policy. Empowering powerful and trying to hide it by kicking the powerless. One of the most vile PMs in history.

Funny to see how much the staff at @TheCurrentCBC troll their audience. Just saw an ad that says, "Nothing is off limits" for a show that absolutely will not touch 40% of the political spectrum. There are a ton of topics that are off limits for that show.

Western countries: we should fund evil militias and sell arms/tech to governments that commit war crimes, perhaps we can access their natural minerals Western countries later: woah, why are these desperate people fleeing conflict and humanitarian crisis coming here?

Driver drives into hole in cordonned-off construction zone. I have seen SO MANY PEOPLE try to drive through this area, despite many signs and barriers. When I say people in this city don't look past the hood of their own car, this is what I mean. zone911.com/accidents/accide…

Do we? If our economy and infrastructure weren't buckling, you could make a much stronger case. But there are a lot of wealthy western democracies accepting far less than we are. I think it's their responsibility to step up in times like these. Disagree?
