A dog was killed after being run over by a driver in Chimalhuacán, Mexico. Neighbors say the driver kept going without stopping to help and are sharing footage to identify the person.
The case shows how accountability can depend on residents preserving and circulating evidence when a driver leaves the scene. But the footage still has to establish who was behind the wheel before authorities can act.
