Transnational criminal scam networks operating from West Africa suffered major disruptions last week during a coordinated international “Joint Disruption Week,” an effort that produced arrests, seizures, and the LARGEST-EVER TAKEDOWN of fraudulent social media accounts linked to scam centers in the region.
