As recovery and repairs continue, it’s important to protect yourself from unlicensed contractors. Before hiring an electrician, verify their license through the State of Tennessee’s official site. Fast, free, and reliable

We recognize how difficult this is for those still seeking shelter, and encourage you to make use of the discounted VRBO/hotel options or shelters that are available.

Due to Winter Storm Fern and impacts to roads and communications, Tennessee has opened the TBI Hotline 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463) to handle welfare check requests.
Please use this state hotline instead of calling local non-emergency public safety or emergency management agencies. Davidson County welfare check requests must be submitted through the county hub page.

My immediate concern is the tornado-warned storm now approaching Centerville heading into Williamson County. It may be cycling which would cause tornado danger for Western Williamson Co, into Franklin, Cool Springs, Brentwood. Everyone in Will Co, heads up. Davidson Co, be ready, too. / 345 PM

We cannot reliably answer route, activity, and time specific questions because storm evolution tomorrow is unknown and conditional. We do not want you to make plans that look good now but put you in danger tmrw. Bottom line: do not leave yourself exposed and vulnerable with inadequate shelter. Pay attn and go about your day.
Time to prepare your safe space in your home!
