Nango customers are increasingly self-hosting their integrations, even startups!
They want control over customer data and credentials. But that used to mean maintaining another system.
That’s why we built Nango’s bring-your-own-cloud (BYOC) deployment: Nango runs in their cloud, and we manage it for them.
We handle setup, updates, monitoring, and scaling. Customers keep control, with zero infra burden.

Nango now supports 1,000+ APIs.
We want developers to ship an integration and get back to building their product. When a provider changes its auth flow six months later, that should be our problem, not yours!

Building integrations with 500 different APIs from scratch is its own full-time job.
Nango (@NangoHQ) skips that: code-first setup, unified data models, enterprise-grade security.
11.6k stars, shipping since 2020.

The Composio breach in May 2026 exposed every credential stored on their platform.
That's the risk of closed-source integration platforms. Your customers' OAuth tokens, API keys, and credentials sit on servers you can't inspect, running code you can't read.
Nango is the open source alternative. 11600+ GitHub stars. 900+ APIs. Every line of code is public. The auth layer, the credential store, the proxy, the execution runtime. All inspectable. All self-hostable.
Replit, Ramp, and Mercor already run it in production. 600+ B2B companies total.
Here's why developers are switching:
You describe an integration in plain English. "Sync GitHub issues to my database every 5 minutes." The Nango AI Builder skill, along with a coding agent such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex, can write code and test it against a real account.
You read it. You edit it. You own it. It's not a black box. It's code in your repo.
The runtime handles everything production needs: OAuth for 900+ APIs, automatic token refresh, rate limit handling, per-tenant isolation, retries, and scaling. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, GDPR compliant.
And you can self-host the entire thing for $0. The "unified API" vendors charging $40K-$100K/year for the same capability are selling you a hosted version of what Nango ships publicly.
After Composio, the question isn't whether open source integrations are good enough. It's whether you can afford to trust closed source with your customers' credentials.

built an ai code reviewer for github with @NangoHQ .
open a pull request :
- it reads the code
- finds bugs and leaked API keys
- comments right on the PR. a summary goes to slack.
nango connects github, notion and slack for it - so i wrote zero login code and zero token refresh.
that's the only reason this got built. auth is the boring part that kills these projects.
Check it out👇
what does your code review keep missing?

If you build an API, we have ten requests:
1. Make 200 mean success.
2. Return expires_in. Always.
3. If you rotate refresh tokens, consider a short grace period for the previous token
4. Return more specific errors than just invalid_grant.
5. Keep your auth docs up-to-date

Our team has been using @NangoHQ and found it super awesome! It made connecting with third-party APIs incredibly fast and easy by handling the complex parts like authentication, token refresh and API differences, allowing developers to focus on building product features rapidly🚀
