Proud that @Meta sponsored and participated in this year’s Tradeswomen Build Nations conference as we deepen our partnership with @NABTU to expand opportunities in America’s skilled trades.
It was especially meaningful to see graduates of our @AmerWorkAcademy spend time with @NABTU President Sean McGarvey. His leadership is helping create more opportunities for women in the skilled trades to build the infrastructure that will power America's future.
Many may not know this, but our union is proud to represent metal finishers. Metal polishing is an extremely skilled trade, with our members essentially acting as scientists, mixing and matching colors.
Check out the essential work of Chicago’s metal finishers, who work all night to keep the city’s historic buildings looking shiny and beautiful!
