(spoilers yall) There’s a couple but the third act has a lot I really love honestly. the club scene is a cool and fun watch but thematically i love they committed to hagen killing caitlyn’s fiancee. this wasn’t a sonyverse “villain” movie. that descent into madness after caitlyn fixing him but he gets thrown back down to that “ugliness” over and over again because of those unforseen issues / the overdose and he sees caitlyn as the ONLY fix (because she does fix him every time either scientifically or just being a presence that isn’t disgusted by him like the rest of the world was or calms him) he ultimately “cares” for her for selfish reasons because he thinks she’s the answer. i like the ending too because he’s playing out a scene that will never happen because of his own actions, trying to claw back a semblance of normally which is a slightly different take than how the one bad day comic goes with playing out a whole circle of people for a scene. i’m watching it again on sunday and still collecting my thoughts on an actual review to put on here but yeah im happy
