Imagine that
The big winner of this World Series? Scouts!
The Brewers and Rays are deeply analytical but also deeply rooted in traditional scouting. Perhaps there’s a lesson there. @MLB mlb.com/news/brewers-rays-sc…

Zion Rose to the occasion
The @Royals No. 6 prospect plates the first run of the game with an RBI single. Rose, a 2026 first-rounder, is batting .320 this Fall

An extended look at '27 RHP Enrique Santos (FL)...
FB- 89-93 | SL- 75-76 | CH- 81-83 // @PG_Uncommitted #WWBAWorlds @Florida_PG @eastcoastbball
Nasty stuff here from Enrique Santos (‘27 FL) as he picks up another K in relief here on the SL (81-83) Noticeable jump as he’s been up to 93 FB, mostly sitting 89-92. @PG_Uncommitted #WWBAWorlds
Winner!
Mid 80s LHP @ConnerMoore_24
Was a reliable pen arm for us last year. Started games too.
Pounds the zone. Solid 3-4 pitch mix. Will be good for someone else too at the next level

‘28 RHP Eli Mathis (AR) through a scoreless frame here in the 1st. Working at 85-87, popped 88. V confident in breaking ball (clip), spinning early and often. @PG_Uncommitted #WWBAWorlds @PGMidwestBB

I’ve been truly blessed to watch Jacob Caruso grow over the years, and this past week in Jupiter, Florida, gave me memories I’ll carry for the rest of my life.
There’s something special about Jupiter. The fields, the competition, the history—and the opportunity to play in Perfect Game’s WWBA World Championships, one of the most prestigious events in amateur baseball. Perfect Game has provided a stage that has meant so much to our program and given so many young men opportunities to chase their dreams.
Names like Bobby Witt Jr., Pete Alonso, and Kade Anderson are part of what makes those fields so memorable.
For years, I’ve gone to Jupiter and come home with stories. This time, my wife was beside me, and our son was on those fields creating the story I’ll treasure most.

Anson Bright, the 50th overall ranked player in the Class of 2028, has announced his commitment to Ole Miss.
’28 RHP Anson Bright (MS) has some of the best pure stuff in the country, running the fastball into the mid-90s with regularity and showing a full mix. At 6-foot-4, 215-pounds he’s physically impressive and offers lots of deception and funk given his slot and arm action. He misses a ton of bats with 36 strikeouts in 16.2 innings this year with a 0.84 ERA and just 4 hits allowed during that span. #HottyToddy

They value what has been a winning formula for over a century and a half. If it takes a team of MIT grads to figure it out, it's all good.

The Brewers’ 103 wins this season are the most in franchise history. How did they do it without hitting a ton of homers?
Well:
• Murph
• small ball
• stolen bases
• bunting for hits
• grinding out ABs
• avoiding strikeouts
• playing great defense
• GREAT FUNDAMENTALS
Shocker
The Brewers are the ultimate OUTLIER
When I was diving in on the game and pitching matchup yesterday I found this. This is a statistic of the average degree of the barrel of the bat at contact point for each team.
Everything to the left is pull side contact point. Everything to the right is opposite field contact point.
29 of the 30 teams are to the pull side.
There’s just one to the opposite field. The Milwaukee Brewers.
This is wild to me. And speaks volumes to their team approach. It means the ball is traveling deeper which has a ripple effect on everything else you’re trying to do as a hitter.
It allows you to recognize off speed for a split second longer. Spit on pitches down and away. Keep pitches fair that you’re normally pulling foul. Foul line to foul line approach.
The team with the best record in all of baseball is the ONLY team doing something. And they’re not even particularly close to any other teams. That’s pretty eye opening.
Also shoutout Twins. Turn and burn, baby.

‘27 TWP Gavin Ruvalcaba (FL) doesn’t waste any time here in R1 of the playoffs as he goes solo blast to lead off the game (106 EV/394 FT). Starting to really come off well & still just a beautiful LH cut. @DukeBASE commit #WWBAWorlds @Florida_PG
‘27 Gavin Ruvalcaba wasn’t done there as he also smashed a single back UTM later in the game (103 EV). Monster day one for the @DukeBASE commit. #WWBAWorlds @Florida_PG
