One of our players had invested in a new bat on Saturday (the price was disclosed to us...).
Yesterday, he was superbly caught out at point for a duck by an opponent making their debut, wearing the classic combination of a white cricket jumper with jeans.

People with a following on social media ought to show more responsibility. It's not the contractors job to produce an EIA document to justify the work they're doing. Have you tried contacting the actual @ForestryComm or landowner officially, NOT thru Twitter? Conspiracy galore.🤦♂️
Strange this tweet showing large area of grassland being ploughed up for a plantation has been removed since I asked to see an Environmental Impact Assessment. Why? I can only assume there isn't one and that the contractor and the landowner are hiding something? @TelfordBlack

I feel really lucky to have been able to work on this #ForestTreeWorldCup2020! Although the Winner wasn't my first choice (I won't let on which was!), it's one I'm very familiar with & I think is deserving. Just look at all the candidates we started with! It could have been any:

England and Scotland both emerge from the Group stage of the #ForestTreeWorldCup2020 with flying colours - when was the last time you could say that about a world cup?
Sycamore scrapes through, with the accusations of “non-native” ringing in its branches.

Winners of the last were Scots pine and Sycamore. Seems the desire for "native" is strong! 🌳🌲

Time for Group B of the #ForestTreeWorldCup2020 !
An intriguing selection here, and it's all to play for. This is one for the hardcore fans; again the winners might seem obvious, but do we rely on old favourites or branch out into new species?

My daughter is doing an A level Design and Technology project on tree planting (specifically, on sustainable tree guards). If you plant trees and you have got two minutes, she would be hugely grateful if you could fill this initial survey in. Pls RT🙏

While the lockdown is on, I'm getting lots of office work done - the next job on the list is to draft a deer management plan. Anyone have any advice on resources to use/good things to read so I can get myself clued up? 🦌🌳@AlastairDeerEng @BritishDeerSoc @DavidDeerEng
