Even when opening 1-side sol positions, we still typically make our max bin a little bit higher than current price... Why is that? A small trick that vet @MeteoraAG users employ everyday Very simple answer-- it is to make chasing the pool price up easier and more efficient. If the pool is moving up from the market price where you initially entered, you need to withdraw and deposit your liq back in order for it to be active at those higher prices. The usual method is to close out your pool, open a new one. The easier method is to give some space above current price, and just withdraw and deposit back WITHOUT closing the whole pool.
