The US pivot to help Putin won’t last more than two years. It will already be one constrained after the midterms. Putin and the American people know this. Only Trump and his fiercest defenders don’t.

Glad to see @SecRubio talking to Zelenskyy. I hope our Secretary of State will devote more of his time to Ukraine and Russia.
I spoke with Marco Rubio @SecRubio, and it was a substantive conversation – focused on the issues that matter. I am grateful for his readiness to help and his clear position. First, ballistic missile interceptors, which are needed to protect lives. Second, early warning of Russian ballistic missile attacks, which is vital. Third, the situation with Starlink/Starshield, which needs to be restored. Of course, all of this comes against the backdrop of our diplomatic efforts to end this horrific war and the constant killing of people. We agreed to get in touch again soon for an update. Thank you, Marco, for the constructive discussion! Thank you to everyone in America who supports fair approaches!

Ukraine was winning the war, so Trump kneecapped Ukraine to help Russia. I wish it weren’t that simple, but it is. Our president is in bed with our enemies.

The @Stanford class of 1986 was in town last weekend for their reunion and this photo of our C division intramural championship team from 1986 was in circulation! Glory days.

Russian military blogger says Ukrainian mid-range drone strikes on the main Russian supply route in occupied southern Ukraine have almost ceased because of the throttling of Starlink. No need to elaborate on what this new freedom of logistics for Russia means for the frontline.

I'm not an expert on American electoral politics, but it's hard for me to understand how Trump's embrace of Putin -- a leader who over 80% of Americans don't like -- helps Republicans win more votes in November.

And yet Trump continues to claim that Zelenskyy is the one blocking peace. Surreal and tragic.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed that any peace deal acceptable to Moscow and Washington would mean the end of Zelensky’s “regime” and “of him personally.” kyivpost.com/post/87638

10 years ago today @HillaryClinton nailed the bleak future ahead if Trump was elected. “Clinton: Putin would rather have a puppet as president. You won't admit the Russians engaged in cyberattacks against the US, that you encouraged espionage against our people, that you spout the Putin line, sign up for his wish list, break up NATO, do whatever he wants you to do.” Every word is true. Tragically, his capitulation to Russia is even worse than imagined.

⚡️ In Ukraine 🇺🇦, trust in Zelensky jumped from 43% to 57% in just one week amid mounting US 🇺🇸 pressure on Ukraine. 👉 Zelensky is now almost twice as popular at home as Trump is in the US.

In the global struggle between Autocrats vs Democrats, Trump wants to side with the autocrats. The American people, however, are still on the side of democracy, including in Ukraine.

Trump keeps claiming that Ukraine has given us nothing. That's just not true. Over 5000 Ukrainian soldiers served alongside our soldiers in Iraq. 18 of them died for us -- for our war. army.mil/article/15056/ukrai… 1/THREAD

After the end of Putin's war, democratic Ukraine could become one of America's closest partners in Europe. Russia under Putin will never become a close U.S. partner. 7/ END
