I loved having this conversation with my friends and colleagues at @MBTS. I hope you give it a watch!
Good questions invite good conversations.
What is theological retrieval?
Can Baptists practice responsible retrieval?
Have some taken retrieval too far?
We covered these questions in Episode 1 of Faculty Lounge with Drs. @pj_schreiner, @pjgurry, @drjohnmeade, @drandrewmking, @RonniKurtz, and @samuel_parkison as they think together about Theological Retrieval.

ALT A group of people seated in a modern lounge with large windows, engaging in a conversation. The setting is labeled "Midwestern Seminary Faculty Lounge." The room has comfortable chairs and wooden flooring, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
Last week marked 490 years since the death of William Tyndale.
Tyndale’s story is a reminder that access to Scripture in our own language is something we can easily take for granted.
His work translating the Bible into English came at great cost—and his influence can still be seen in the English Bibles we read today.
Want to learn more about his life, his work, and his legacy? Take a few minutes to read this article by Dr. @pjgurry at the @TextandCanon Institute. textandcanon.org/the-life-an…

A new project I’ve been dreaming about for some time is finally live (Faculty Lounge).
One of the things I’m most excited about is getting to talk about the things I care most about with people I spend time with every week.
My hope is that this long-form video podcast will help you think more deeply about these topics while also giving you a window into the conversations, relationships, and culture at @MBTS.
I’m excited to share it with you!
You can find it on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

A new resource from @MBTS--The Faculty Lounge.
A number of us profs at MBTS often eat lunch together where we move at back-and-forth between theological conversation and laughing at each other. We thought it may be fun to record some of these convos.

My friend, Dr. Tyler Sykora, at @MBTS and @SpurgeonColl, just published his new book, and I cannot recommend it enough to all who love God's Word.
"The worshiper’s delight glorifies God because it rightly attributes praise to the only one who is truly worthy of worship.”

As always, I'd really appreciate help in getting the word out.
I wrote this one with church discipleship groups / elder training / undergrad students in mind.
