At some point in the past few years I realized that airport lounges are rarely worth it. Food is pretty mid and unless you travel extremely frequently the cost premium of credit cards with access doesn't pay off. They only make sense if you're an alcoholic.
Air Canada lounge is packed to the gills, and they're turning people away as full and repeatedly telling people to stop putting their bags on seats because the seats are for people. But there's booze, so that's something.

Saw Digger last night. One of the weirdest things I've ever seen.

If any frontier AI labs want to hire me to be a paranoid weirdo, I'm available

Extreme mode is to make a custom HDMI cable where the Xiao module sits beside the connector and taps into the wires for power and then overmold it all into the connector housing. Or just hide in a fake ferrite bead LOL

There was a time when I was a kid that I could buy Bawls from the 7-Eleven a few minutes walk from my house. Now they don't have it and that 7-Eleven is closed. Ultimate proof that Canada is on the decline. 😔😔

Glock, instead of making a 3D model, they just took a million pictures at different angles 😂 I respect it 😎

Back in the day, we would sometimes have to take Xbox Live down to do maintenance or upgrades. These are the types of posts we would make to let you know and provide options to keep yourself busy. Of course things are more sophisticated today - with little to no downtime necessary. Simpler times back then.

Somewhere out there a guy just paid for tooling for a new AR pistol brace and now he's crying into a whisky bottle
🚨 BREAKING 🚨 ATF Releases NFA guidance in response to the Texas NFA lawsuit: "Effective October 9, 2026, ATF will no longer require individuals to seek ATF approval under the NFA before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers, and “any other weapon[s]” as defined in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e). ATF will also no longer require such items to be registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. These policies apply uniformly to anyone otherwise subject to these requirements, not just to the plaintiffs in the litigation."

Claude's really ambitious on press brake capabilities. Time for some DFM rules.

Ta-da!! Wow it's.... really ugly. But it looks mostly like a rabbit, and the parts do appear to be sheet metal.

Tried again but uploaded a low-poly STL bunny from Printables for reference. Much better! Head is a bit lumpy, I think maybe I should have it do its own decimation on the mesh first and give me some options to choose before doing the full design.

So that was a fucking lie

Need free data? Buy a cheap ledger off a dodgy seller, pull the sim out of the spy implant and enjoy while you can (law enforcement may visit you thinking you are the one making these). xitter.cf/AliceInDisarray/status…
Second slightly more illegal weekend idea: (I won't do it.. but maybe you will) Desolder the mff2 flock ESIM onto one of those nanosim adapter boards (pretty easy it's like a weird wson-8) and use it for free mobile data (there's also non soldered adapters)

Starting to think I should've told it to decimate the mesh first
