Which led to another person on the call saying, "I thought the cyanide remark was a good transition to discuss our plans for next Tuesday when we’re all together..."

Yes mate. We are aware of what white pills and black pills mean. On the call, in addition to talking about the meme, the gallows humor included one of Trump's senior political advisers saying - direct quote - "cyanide comes with a fucking white pill too, you know."

To be clear, Tim, on the call, according to four people on the call, when the black pill/white pill reference was made, someone said that cyanide comes with a white pill too (along with some expletives).

It’s remarkable to tweet that so confidently. Cyanide. LOL.

No -- they described "black pill/ white pill," which was indeed about hope/not hope, and according to multiple people, someone explicitly joked that cyanide comes in a white pill as well.

Well, I don’t think the person can be fired because they were elected.
Whoever thought it was a good idea after last night’s results to send the president out the next day to tout his ballroom should be fired and never work in politics again, and perhaps even in prison forever like on the moon.

Asked about U.S. intelligence concerns surrounding the relationship, Trump said he was not aware of the specifics but several times said he hoped that Huang was not implicated. “We hope everything’s okay with Jensen,” Trump said. “We’ll check it out. We’re going to check it out very closely.”

President Trump tonight appeared to hedge when I asked whether he still had confidence in Nvidia’s Jensen Huang as an adviser on U.S. technology policy amid questions about Huang’s relationship with a suspected Chinese operative. “I would like to say yes. I mean, unless we find out something to the contrary,” Trump said. “I’ve always found Jensen Huang to be very above board. But you know, you’re dealing in a very complex issue.”

Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan did not say this in their interview with @DeadlineWH. Here's the full transcript of the moment, and you can read the report they were discussing here from October 20: nyti.ms/4BFq21K

+ 1000.
The same is true at NYT. David McCraw and his team are indispensable. Would be impossible to do any kind of high stakes story without them.
