Who can free himself from achievement
And from fame, descend and be lost
Amid the masses of men?
He will flow like Tao, unseen,
He will go about like Life itself
With no name and no home.
Simple is he, without distinction.
To all appearances he is a fool.

The greatest stories all sing the same song in a different cadence, rhyme, rhythm, and length: the song of love. The demand of love. The suffering of love. The tragedy of love. The hope of love. Sanctification by love. It's so obvious that only scholars miss it.

I don't like the narrative of modern day homesteading (and localism more generally) being a form of retreat or disengagement from larger societal concerns. I see it more as a prefiguration of a healthier society that can emerge from its broad-scale and networked diffusion
I know the machines algorithm adores consistent engagement
but the faire folk of the imaginal do not care for linear time
and i have come to serve the good people first.
