Question for people who schedule a 9am meeting for the first day back after the holidays… is violence your love language?
@ the person who sent a Teams message before 8:30am on a Monday morning. Question for you: Respectfully, wtf?
Did I see your email? Yes.
Did I then mark it as unread to remind me to deal with it later? Also yes.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but the first day back after taking time off is for going through my inbox and mentally preparing to be here for the next 8 hours. Please leave me alone. I’m fragile right now.
I am going to need 4-24 business days to recover from last night. I didn’t drink, I just stayed up past 11pm.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but if you are the loudest in the meeting you probably aren’t listening enough
I don’t know who needs to hear this but just because that is their definition of success doesn’t mean it needs to be yours too.
On average, how many times do you open an email just to *mark as unread* so you can deal with it at a later time?
“Once you commit to actually doing it, the hardest part is over”
*me giving myself a pep talk to tackle the thing that’s been on my to do list for 24 business days that will take me no longer than 10 minutes to complete*
F-inishing my to do list
R-eady for the weekend
