I just listened to the replay of the AMA between @WRTHapp and the @verona_comm. In my opinion, there was one particularly interesting part, especially when @LLCoolBlaze explained the core belief that forms the foundation of WRTH. We know that WRTH is a platform for the resale economy and collectibles built on @verona_dev infrastructure. However, the core problem they aim to solve is actually much bigger than simply buying and selling goods. “Our core belief is that an object should carry its own history…” Currently, information about a physical asset is typically scattered across marketplaces, databases, spreadsheets, or even relies solely on the owner’s memory. When an item changes hands, its history doesn’t transfer along with it. Every transaction seems to reset the item to zero as if it were suffering from "amnesia". WRTH Through provenance, verification, and technologies like NFC/RFID connected to Verona, an item can have a record that continuously tracks the asset’s journey from when it was first created, through changes of ownership, damage or repairs, to resale. Every event becomes part of its history, rather than replacing the previous history. And Verona is part of the infrastructure that makes that history verifiable.
