After more than a decade of using the #BeagleBone as the controller for my poncho, I finally migrated all the animations code to the #ESP8266. Spent all day optimising the code and it works! Such a space saver. Ready for #Coachella

New is powered from the poncho itself and is barely bigger than the control buttons 😁 With a buck-boost to maintain 3.3v in the 3-4.2V range of the battery

Old BeagleBone carried it's own 2S 7.4V battery pack w buck converter, all packed into a camera case. It took over a minute to boot 😭
