Here's you, celebrating the passage of the Trump tax cuts in 2017, which were largely a $2 trillion giveaway for corporations and the rich — just part of the $7 trillion added to the U.S. debt under Trump.
Do you have an extra $800 lying around? That's how much more you owe as your share of the national debt since January 12th—when I first called on President Biden to negotiate.
His delay has real consequences. His default would be even worse.

This is the Republican Party.

"We warned during the Trump tax cuts that this dramatic decrease in revenue would explode the nation's debt. And we heard from the Republican side, 'No, let us write off our yachts, let us write off our private jets.'"

This is what Republicans are afraid of. An entire generation that has been killed and oppressed by their failed policies, time, and time again, standing up, voting them out and replacing them by running for office.

BREAKING: The Los Angeles Times drops bombshell on Twitter CEO Elon Musk, reveals that a brand new study just found that he is lying about hate speech going down on Twitter since he took over — finding that it has actually DOUBLED since he took over.
This puts Twitter at risk of helping extremists become “radicalized online by what has been termed stochastic terrorism, in which hate speech is used to incite violent acts.”
This should be deeply concerning to every Twitter user. Please RT and ❤️ to spread awareness about Twitter’s pressing threat to our democracy — and consider joining Tribel.com, a new pro-democracy Twitter competitor that I created. Afraid of competition, Musk banned the official Tribel Twitter account last week — but he hasn’t yet banned this link to download the new Tribel app: tribel.app.link/okwPIHYCIqb

Why is Social Security going broke? Income inequality.
Workers are making less than projected.
Meanwhile, the rich are getting richer — so more and more income escapes the cap on the Social Security payroll tax.
It's just one more way the super-rich don't pay their fair share.

Extreme Republicans yell about inflation — then vote for price gougers over people.
Democrats capped insulin costs at $35/month for seniors without 1 Republican vote — now drug companies are following @JoeBiden’s lead to lower costs for millions more patients. Democrats deliver!

Folks can make 10s or even 100s of thousands in rent payments on time, no issues.
And then be told they can't qualify for a mortgage with a LOWER monthly payment.
The system is rigged. It's predatory. And it needs to change.

Why is it that when progressive policies that help the bottom 90 percent are proposed, the question always seems to be, "How will you pay for it?"
But when the top 1 percent ask for bailouts, tax cuts, and subsidies, the question always seems to be, "How much do you need?"

Where's the investigation into the $2,000,000,000 Saudi Arabia handed Jared Kushner?

Not enough people are talking about the fact that Herschel Walkers lives in TEXAS!
He doesn’t live in Georgia, and he sure as HELL shouldn’t be representing the state.

Capitalism needs homelessness for it to function. The fear of being unhoused is a policy choice, used as a threat to exploit workers. Imagine how society would be if we had basic income and housing was seen as a right, not a privilege.

Don't tell me inflation is being driven by government spending or workers asking for better wages.

By the way, the economy is at least 50% more concentrated now than it was in 2005.
We desperately need stronger anti-trust enforcement to break up the monopoly power of corporations like Ticketmaster.
