During this last week of Pedestrian Safety Month, save and share this quick guide to stay SAFE.🚶‍➡️🚘

While deaths and serious injuries are down, collisions are still on the rise. So far in 2026, Kentucky highway work zones have seen: ⚠️ 932 collisions ⚠️ 5 fatalities ⚠️ 13 serious injuries Slow down, obey posted speed limits, and obey flaggers/AFADs. (2/2)

Widespread rainfall totals <1.5" are expected with isolated higher amounts of 2-5" possible within the yellow outlined area. Lesser potential for these isolated totals exists in the white outlined area. Rain could be heavy at times within storms. Take care and enjoy the rain!
A probability map of more than an inch of rain is displayed along with two outlined areas discussed on the graphic with potential to see isolated areas of 2-5 inches. A primary wave of showers and embedded storms has the potential to produce heavy downpours. With this potential comes the threat of localized flash flooding. Widespread amounts of 0.5-1.5" are expected although isolated totals of 2-5" are possible highlighted in yellow. Within the white region exists another area to watch for these isolated higher totals, although confidence is lower there. Take care and enjoy the rain!
