We are saddened to share the news that Jerry Koosman has passed away. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family.

If you haven’t checked out my website yet, tap in! Western PA sports history, WPIAL & City League stories, interviews, throwbacks, opinions, true crime, local businesses and stories you probably won’t find anywhere else. I built this from the ground up, and I’m just getting started. Appreciate everybody who reads, shares and supports. 💯

To all my Friends, Rockies fans, current and past Players, members of the entire Colorado Rockies Organization top to bottom, I would like to extend my appreciation and love for being part of an incredible journey for over 20 years. I was granted the opportunity to coach and manage this club. Then, I was asked to come back and mentor the young players and future leaders of this organization. Both were gifts. Thank you to Dick Monfort for trusting me with both of those journeys and for always treating me like family and making Colorado feel like home. What I will hold onto most isn’t the wins. It’s the people! They are what Rocktober was built on. That’s what the next great Rockies team will be built on too. With my last day being October 31, 2026….just know that I am not retiring…but rather recalculating my journey personally and professionally. In the words of my favorite Doctor….”Don’t be sad it’s over be glad it happened” - Dr. Seuss Thank you for your support over the years. My family and I have loved our time in Colorado, and will always cherish our memories in purple. Make a difference today, Love Clint @Rockies
