Next week you can learn how fundraising really works over croissants, cowork with the Stripe team, and turn that idea you keep talking about into a working prototype
Double celebration for our Future 40 🎉
Webyn raised €7M to make every website unique to each visitor
CarbonFarm raised €7M to decarbonise rice farming worldwide
Turns out €7M is the magic number this week !
Trust & safety is where some of the most exciting startups are being built right now. If you’re one of them, come build with us!
Together with @tiktok_France . 10 spots. Free. Apply by Oct 26 - stationf.fillout.com/t/vYccX…
1/ We asked 125 STATION F founders one question: before you found your cofounder, how many potential cofounders did you meet?
The answer wasn’t what we expected👀
3/The story most founders tell themselves is that cofounder matching is a numbers game.
Grind through enough coffees, pitch events and quick calls, and eventually the right person appears. The data says otherwise.
Most founders who found a cofounder found them inside the first ten conversations. The ones still searching after fifty are the exception, not the rule.
Today, our director @roxannevarza joined @politico 's summit to discuss the future of French innovation.
As the elections approach, stability matters. The past decade has transformed France’s startup ecosystem: more tech startups are being created, and STATION F has supported over 9,000 startups.
Government policies have helped drive that progress. The next challenge is to build on it, especially by helping startups scale and find opportunities to grow in France.

$7M for AlloBrain 🎉
The thesis that Varsity and Groupama are funding: AI for contact centres should make human agents better at their job, not take it from them.
Allobrain was built by Zied Haj-Yahia, Adrien Sasportes and Yves-Marie Bouedo. The platform helps with live assist during calls, quality monitoring after them, and voice-of-customer insights that feed right back into coaching.
A few numbers that caught our eye 👇
• 2M+ conversations analyzed every day
• 180+ languages supported natively
• Trusted by Groupe ADP, SNCF, Schneider Electric, Sofinco and Club Med
• 27 people, 70% engineers, split between Paris and Riyadh
And our favourite part: Outcome-based pricing: if the ROI isn't there, the client doesn't pay, that's how confident they are
Bravo Team!
Two reasons to be at STATION F soon:
ai-PULSE - @nvidia , @Meta , @MistralAI , @huggingface , Mozilla, @stripe , @runwayml all under one roof talking Europe’s open-source AI future. the AI event in Paris you don’t want to tell your group chat you missed.
GreenTech Forum brings speakers from @LVMH , @googlecloud , @SchneiderElec , @orange , @GroupeLaPoste , @Dior , @PublicisSapient focused on turning sustainability intent into action
Did a quick count on this Enterprise AI mapping and spotted 41 familiar faces, all part of the STATION F community 👀

Congratulations teams!
We partnered with @Founders_Forum for today’s event, usually hosted in Berlin, but this time bringing its community to Paris.
Paris is increasingly becoming a place where ambitious founders, investors and AI leaders are coming together to build what’s next.
Shoutout to Manako, one of our f/ai companies building vision AI for the physical world. Their expert models are reportedly 400x more efficient than generalist ones for narrow tasks like vehicle detection, already deployed across hundreds of thousands of retail and commercial sites in the US. A reminder that the next frontier of AI will be the one’s closest to the real world.
👀 Our Station F founder just put self-driving trucks on the autoroute.
Pejvan Beigui and the Konboi team, part of our Moove Lab Program, are running 27-tonners down French highways with nobody steering. They’ve already clocked 40,000 km with zero accidents
French-built, French-driven (well... French-not-driven)
Replying to @Xavier75
@Xavier75 and @stanislas43285 (Doctolib) sat down for a Q&A at STATION F that cut straight to what it takes to build a European champion.
A few lines we're still thinking about 👇
"We need to have the ambition to say we can build one of the biggest technology companies in the world" - Stan
"Its simple until you make it complicated" - Xavier
The bottom line - Europe doesn't lack talent, capital or ideas. It lacks urgency and founders willing to obsess over users before anything else. Both pointed to healthcare as one of the biggest open plays on the continent: AI that lifts administrative weight off clinicians, strengthens prevention, and widens access to care.
Which is why we built Care Forward, our health innovation program with @doctolib , @Hôtel-Dieu (AP-HP) and @Roche .
The mission: help European healthtech founders move from concept to clinical adoption, with the clinical access, product expertise and regulatory muscle to scale.
Batch 1: 250 applications, 15 startups selected.
Batch 2: open now, 10 days left. ⏳
If you're building what comes next in health, this is your shot. Link in comments
Flowie → @SovosCompliance
Four years ago, a small Paris startup fixing the slow, painful parts of finance ops around ERPs. Invoices, collections, treasury.
Now acquired by Sovos, the US tax compliance giant.
Félicitations Yann Ravel-Sibillot and the team, Future 40 class of '23 ❤️

$26M Series B for WhiteLab Genomics 🧬 (Future 40)
Here's what the money's going into: they use AI to design the microscopic vehicles that carry gene therapy into the body. Getting one into the brain without it ending up in the wrong place (usually the liver) is one of the hardest things to pull off in the field. They just did it, in live tests.
Bravo David Del Bourgo and the whole crew across Paris, Boston and Montréal.
Merci AVP for leading, and to YADAY Health, Blast Club, Omnes Capital and Debiopharm for coming in.
